The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Saturday’s gubernatorial elections in Ondo State, Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu is currently leading his main contender and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Eyitayo Jegede SAN with 16,126 votes in the seven local government areas announced so far by the INEC.
According to the results, Akeredolu has a total of 74,801 while Jegede has 58,675 in 7 out of the 18 LGAs in Ondo state.
The seven LGAs were: Ondo East, Ondo West, Irele, Ifedore, Ose, Ile Oluji/Okeigbo, and Akoko North East.
The electoral body is currently on recess and will resume collation of election this morning.
