Professor Yemi Osinbajo has reverted to his position as the Vice President of Nigeria, after four successfully period in acting capacity.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from medical vacation at the weekend means that his vice, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo will revert to his former position – Vice President.
It is the fourth time the Vice-President would be on that capacity since the inception of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government on May 29, 2015.
Timeline of Osinbajo Acting Presidency:
- The first was in February 2016, when the President embarked on a five-day vacation;
- The second was in June 2016, when Buhari travelled to the UK to treat an ear infection
- Third, another medical vacation, was between January 19 and March 10 this year.
- The last was today, when President Buhari resumed after 103 days in London for medical follow
