According to Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a hike in electricity tariff is inevitable.
Speaking at the Sixth Presidential Business Forum held at the old Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, he urged Nigerians to brace for a new regime.
However, government isn't going to implement the hike now but is waiting, working on solving the problem of electricity supply.
He also revealed that the N700 billion Payment Assurance Guarantee (PAG) set aside by government was payment to ensure uninterrupted payment for gas and liquidity in the power sector.
