Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has been assigned head of a committee in charge of determining how money in the nation's excess crude account can be shared.

The committee was set up on Tuesday by President Muhammadu Buhari after a meeting with state Governors. At the meeting President Buhari promised that the federal government will help states sort out their financial mess but he also warned the governors that financial recklessness will not be tolerated by his administration.
He said that the days of impunity, lack of accountability, and fiscal recklessness in the management of national resources are over in Nigeria.
