Comrade Shehu Sani, President of Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, has declared that any attempt to rig the Osun State governorship elections holding today would amount to a declaration of war against Nigerians and a deliberate mutilation of the constitution; DAILY TIMES reported.
An email statement issued by Sani said, "“Any attempt to rig the Osun elections amounts to declaration of war against all Nigerians. The use of heavily armed troops by the federal government is aimed at intimidating the voters of Osun".
Sani added that massive deployment of troops and the gale of arrest of All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftains in the state stand condemned.
