Controversies have trailed the explosion, which occurred in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Tuesday, as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), accused one another of culpability.
While the PDP accused the ruling APC in the state of being responsible for the incident, the latter also claimed that PDP should be blamed for it.
It would be recalled that an Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) went off in Ile-Ife on Tuesday causing confusion and panic in the ancient town. Though no life was lost in the incident, it was gathered that residents of Ile-Ife were running helter-skelter for safety.
