The Congolese government on Thursday said some 53,112 refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo living in Congo-Brazzaville's northern region of Likouala were repatriated back home in 2013.
The Director General of Humanitarian Affairs, Alice Gavouka gave the figure in a statement issued in Brazzaville on Thursday.
Gavouka said that a total of 73 Congolese nationals living in South Africa, the U.S. and other countries returned home during the year.
