THE Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Monsurat Sunmonu, has described as spineless rumour, the story of impeachment plot against her and subsequently, Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Speaking with the Nigerian Tribune, on Sunday, against the background of speculated plan to remove her from office, Sunmonu said there was no plot of such nature, “real or imagined” in the House.
This is just as the deputy chief whip of the assembly, Honourable Michael Adeyemo, has said all members of the House, irrespective of party affiliations, are “solidly behind the Speaker and the governor.
