The Oyo State House of Assembly on Thursday confirmed the 12 names submitted by Governor Abiola Ajimobi for appointment as commissioners in the State Executive Council.
“All the 12 nominees have been confirmed for appointment into the new Oyo State cabinet," House Speaker Monsurat Sunmomu declared at plenary on Thursday.
Among the nominees were Prof. Oladapo Olaniyonu, Mr Adebayo Ojo, Mr Dapo Lam-Adesina, Adetutu Adeyemi Ahigbe and Fatai Atanda.
Others are Oyefunke Oworu, Gbade Lana, Umar Alao, Zacheus Adelabu, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin, Adewale Olujide and Deji Akande. (NAN)
