Presiding pastor of The Apostolic Church, Oboama, Ezinihitte, Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Pastor Sach Samuel Okechukwu, could not hide his shock and embarrassment when he narrated how his 16-year-old housemaid was raped right inside the house of God.
The act, which many in the community have described as “sacrilege and abomination,” was said to have been committed by a 27-year-old Kingsley Christopher Mark-Ogu, alias Pa Gulder, from Umuekwere village of Oboama autonomous community.
The suspected rapist first gave his victim a “serious bite on her right arm to subdue her before tearing off her clothes and raping her inside the church,” the cleric told our reporter. The Apostolic Church in question is located in Umuekwere village.
