Anxiety mounts among national chairmanship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abuja on Sunday as the party refused to release the list of those that would conduct the December 9 national convention.
PUNCH gathered that the aspirants have been mounting pressure on the leadership of the party led by Senator Ahmed Makarfi to constitute the committee.
The party has, however, fixed its National Executive Council’s meeting for Thursday to discuss issues being generated by the convention.
It was gathered that some of the aspirants had met with Makarfi, asking why he had yet to name the convention committee members.
