Former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel on Friday announced that he will no longer seek the chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but will be supporting High Chief Raymond Dokpesi for the post.
According to VANGUARD, Daniel announced his decision when he hosted Dokpesi and his team at Conference Hotel & Suites, Sagamu. He said, “I have known High Chief for more than four decades and it beholds on me that I should support him whenever he is seeking any position.''
Chief Dokpesi, on his part, thanked Otunba Daniel, and pledged to bring unity to PDP South West and win elections in the region.
