The National caretaker committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP led by factional chairman, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, on Wednesday visited Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, Senator Bala Mohammed, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro and Dr Reuben Abati today in EFCC custody.
A source privy to the visit said, the visit was a show of solidarity. The source said: “They were happy to see that despite their challenges and unwarranted detention they were strong and in high spirits.”
“The also urged them to keep the flag flying and that they should be rest assured that the whole PDP family is solidly behind them; they told them to keep their heads held up high and to remain strong.''
Members of Makarfi delegation who visited the EFCC cell include, National Secretary, Senator Ben Obi, National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, National Organising Secretary Senator Abdul Ningi, Senator Ughesi and Hajiya Binta Kuraye.
