The leadership of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party has congratulated the new leadership of the main opposition political Party, the All Progressives Congress.
While congratulating the #APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun; National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and other newly elected officers on their emergence at their party’s National Convention, the PDP charged them to ensure a vibrant opposition devoid of what the #PDP called bitterness, desperation and divisive tendencies.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday, also told the new leadership to “ensure an issue-based opposition that will purposefully and constructively engage and challenge the PDP with decency and maturity as prescribed by democratic tenets and principles.”
