The National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, yesterday fixed May 21 as the exit date for the party’s National Chairman, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff and other members of its National Working Committee.
The information was contained in the communique issued after the party’s NEC meeting, which was held at its national secretariat at Abuja on Monday.
The communique was signed by Sheriff and the party’s National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo.
Sheriff, who read an abridged version of the communique, also said that the NEC approved the timetable for the party’s congresses.
