Politics PDP Gets New BOT Chairman

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has approved the nomination of the former Acting National Chairman of the party, Dr Haliru Bello Mohammed, as its acting board of trustees Chairman.


Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu made the announcement on Monday after a BOT meeting.

He said that very soon the party would convene a meeting where both the National Chairman and the BOT chairman would be elected.

This party and its antics. When Anenih resigned for GEJ to take over the BOT chairmanship and Ekweremadu is again talking about coming election. Where is the connection between the two?

I should think that the party, after it has failed, will evaluate its members if there is still any goodwill left.

An outgoing BOT chairman cannot pick his successor. Both the BOT Chairman and party chairman are serving in acting capacities, hence the need for elections at the party's next convention.

These unprincipled men know this principle more than we do but would rather not practise it.

I mean the leftovers should work on themselves and find credible people to pull PDP up.
