The Peoples Democratic Party has postponed the Kogi state governorship primary earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, September 10.
According to a statement by the party’s spokesperson, Olisa Metuh, the postponement is due to some logistic issues pertaining to the exercise.
The party, however, assured members of the party and particularly the gubernatorial aspirants, of a transparent, credible, free and fair primary election.
“The NWC has approved a new date of Monday, September 14, 2015 for the primary election and directs all members to be guided by this,” the statement said.
