PREMIUM TIMES has just reported that, thugs believed to be loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party and the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, this morning rioted in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital setting ablaze Governor Kayode Fayemi's campaign office and the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
THE STREET JOURNAL is claiming that the riot is in response to the murder of Chief Omolafe Aderiye, immediate past chairman of the, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Ekiti State chapter.
Adriye who is said to be a close associate of Ekiti Governor-Elect, Ayo Fayose was murdered yesterday.
