The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has condemned attempts by the All Progressives Congress, APC to link it's Osun gubernatorial candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore to the murder of former Minister for Justice, Late Chief Bola Ige; Nigerian Tribune reported.
Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, PDP Osun chairman said, "Senator Omisore, has been duly investigated and discharged by the judiciary"
"Omisore remains innocent while every other Nigerian yet to be investigated is a suspect. It amounts to contempt if anybody or persons link Senator Omisore with the case again unless such a person wishes to malign the judiciary"
"Nigerians are enlightened and have become accustomed to the propaganda machinery and misleading information from the All Progressive Congress (APC), Olaoluwa challenged Senator Bola Tinubu, Governor Aregbesola and their cohorts to publish the first statement of Muyiwa Ige, at the police station consequent upon the death of Chief Ige".
The PDP Chieftain concluded by saying that in the said statement, Muyiwa gave as suspects people linked with the Ijebu Igbo caucus where Tinubu was a key player and Aregbesola a political supporter.
