General Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has told the PDP to exclude him from any of the issues that have caused the burning of buses dedicated to President Goodluck Jonathan's campaign in Jos on Saturday.
Speaking through his campaign organization, Buhari said the incident was caused because there was a controversy over a 'rigged' PDP election in Plateau.
Premium Times reports below:
“PDP should leave us out of their wahala (trouble),” a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Buhari Presidential Campaign Organisation, Garba Shehu, read.
“The incident in Jos was passed as a ‘PDP on PDP violence’ yesterday evening, flowing from their rigged primaries.
“That is the earliest security report we got. Nobody should change that and use it to demonize opponents.”
