The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo on Sunday in Benin called on leading politicians who recently dumped All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo to join PDP.
Chief Dan Orbih, Chairman of Edo PDP, told the politicians at a meeting with PDP leadership that they were welcome into the PDP fold.
Orbih said PDP had been monitoring political developments in Edo and commended the former APC members for standing up to ``executive tyranny”.
He said the action of the APC members had further reinforced and inspire his burning desire to bring change and attain internal democracy in the PDP.
