Nigeria - According to Bauchi State Governor Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar his administration is meeting an empty state treasury, Daily Trust reports.
Speaking shortly after he took oath of office at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, the governor said he will later give facts and figures of the state treasury to the people of the state, saying “the state coffers is completely empty.”
“The people will have to give us time to correct all wrongs perpetrated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration,” he said.
