According to report in Nigeria's Thisday Newspaper, the US Embassy in Nigeria has raised some concerns over the elections in Rivers and Akwa Ibom state. However they have advised aggrieved parties to use the judicial system to seek redress.
The embassy also used the opportunity to congratulate Nigerians and the party leaders on the success of the elections.
