Nigeria - Nigeria's promising Eko Atlantic Megacity, was on February 21, 2013 given the go ahead to begin construction. It was one of the country's most promising ground breaking event.
Two years on, it is now preparing to house its second building, a luxurious 26-storey skyscraper.
The first, a 15-floor Afren Plc Towers which will be the company’s new headquarters, is already in its 8th floor of construction.
The city is expected to sit on a reclaimed 5 million square metres of land in Victoria Island, Lagos, It is expected to reshape Africa’s real estate and construction industries.
On completion, Eko Atlantic city is expected to look like this:
