An alleged grand plot by some members of PDP, loyal to President Goodluck Jonathan and the Acting Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike to attack the All Progressives Congress chieftains billed to attend a possible political alliance meeting with Gov. Chibuike Rotimi Amachi of Rivers State has been uncovered.
Gen. Mohammed Buhari, a former President and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos State governor will today lead other chieftains of Nigeria’s major opposition political party, All progressives Congress, APC to a crucial meeting with Rivers State governor, Gov. Rotimi Amaechi.
Report at our disposal by a source who pleaded anonymity said there have been a concluded plots by some loyalists of President Goodluck Jonathan and the acting Minister of Education Wike, to attack APC chieftains in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.
The plots are to make sure the planned meeting with Amaechi and his supporter thwarted. The source further stated that the ant-Amaechi group are planing to use the APC leaders visit to stir mayhem in Rivers, thereby making the state ungovernable for Gov. Amaechi.
