As parts of the activities by the police to forestall the incursion of members of Boko Haram in the state, the police have met with hotel and hospitality owners in Lagos state, Nigerian Tribune reports.

The state police boss, Fatai Owoseni, said the meeting was as a result of the alarm raised by the United States on the plan by members of the sect to attack some places in Nigeria.

Owoseni also stated that measures have been taken to put hotel owners on the alert to guide against any attack by Boko Haram members.

“It is true that we met with hotel owners. We met with many of them, especially the bigger ones that attract foreign guests. It is as a result of the warning from the US,” the police boss said.

He also added that measures had been taken to guide against any attack on some of the hotels and public places in the state.
