The Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, has adopted President Goodluck Jonathan, presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, party's candidate for Saturday's presidential elections; VANGUARD reports.
Addressing newsmen at the PPA national Secretariat, yesterday, in Abuja, the party’s National Chairman, Mr Peter Ameh, said, ''We adopted President Jonathan in line with the spirit of progressive continuity. The party’s declaration of support for Jonathan’ re-election on March 28, was based on merit as the decision was taken after considering the level of development strides, the Transformation Agenda this administration has brought to bear on the lives of our people.
''This Transformational reforms cuts across all sectors of our society from power with the building of Dams in some major part of the country including Gombe, Taraba States amongst others to meet our agricultural and energy needs''.
