The Presidency has rebuked Atiku over his remarks on insurgency in Nigeria, saying that some of Atiku's previous comments accelerated the Boko Haram situation.

DailyPost reports:

Speaking in Abuja at the Public Affairs Forum, a programme organised by his office for ministers to give account of their stewardship, Okupe recalled that in the build up to the 2011 general elections, Atiku quoted a statement by late US President John Kennedy that “those who make peaceful change inevitable will make violent change inevitable”.

He said the former vice president made the remark at the Northern Stakeholders’ Forum meeting in 2010.

Continuing, Okupe described as “unfortunate”, a situation where those who desperately stoked the fire of insurgency were now laying the blame on the shoulders of a government already working hard to put out the fire.

Mr Okupe, There is no need finger pointing and blaming other well meaning statesman for the woes, misrules and failures in your administration.
Nigerians will be very happy if you can use the time you in talking and replying everyone that mentions the president's name for more meaning activities that will bring an end to the insurgency in the north east.
Citizens are dying, more towns are captured by the insurgents and our girls still with this dare devils and you do is TALK, TALK and TALK.
Is really a pity.
CHANGE is all Nigeria need and is now obvious that we can't get it with people like you occuping Aso Rock.
#ANigeriaForAll.
