President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday handed over two air crafts from the presidential air fleet to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
The Presidency made the disclosure on Monday via its Twitter account, @NGRPresident.
The two AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters was handed over to the Nigerian Air Force in a short ceremony, the presidency said in a series of tweets.
“One of the helicopters will be configured and deployed as an Air Ambulance, while 2nd will be deployed as a Troop Carrier
“The two Helicopters will be immediately reconfigured and deployed to the Northeast for the use of Nigerian troops”, the Chief of Air-staff during the programme.
