President Muhammadu Buhari is in Katsina State to declare open the Katsina State Economic And Investment Summit
The President flew in to the Umaru Musa Yaradua Airport in Katsina inside the presidential jet and landed at about 9am on Monday.
He is expected to hold several meetings both with the Emir of Katsina and other stakeholders before declaring open the summit on Tuesday.
The State Governor, Aminu Masari, told State House correspondents in Abuja that the summit was conceived as a platform to showcase the state’s natural economic features to the outside world as well as to attract investors.
The summit is scheduled to take place between Monday and Wednesday.
