Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Deziani Alison -Madueke yesterday warned the National Assembly against embarking on her probe over the private jet scandal.
The minister contended that the two chambers of the National Assembly not only lacked the constitutional powers to probe the alleged scandal, but also warned that embarking on the probe would be prejudicial, having submitted its constitutionality before a Federal High Court for interpretation.
Madueke who covertly indicated that she would make herself unavailable for any probe has also written a letter to the National Assembly through her lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) to drop the probe in the interest of the rule of law.
