Sports Rangers Coach Admits Shooting Stars Game Will Be Tough

Enugu Rangers head coach, Imama Amapakabo has admitted that his side's game against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan will be a tough one considering their visitor's recent form.

The Flying Antelopes will be playing host to the Oluyole Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu for Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 29 fixture clash.

Amapakabo said the encounter will be interesting as the opponents have chalked up heartwarming results in their recent past matches.

"We are expecting good challenge from 3SC given the good results they have picked in their recent past matches.

"The encounter is certain to be entertaining and interesting with the long existing rivalries between both sides.

"However, despite the hiccups and challenges facing us at the moment we hope to put up a good fight for the whole three points at stake.

"We lost a game in Owerri against Heartland coming into the Sunday's clash we need to raise our game to be able to get the whole points.

"We are mindful of the fact that our position on the league log is not really comfortable another draw or loss will worsen our plight.

"I think the situation we are right now calls for genuine sacrifice from all and sundry in order to halt the drift.

"Victory against 3SC will bolster our confidence and morale going into the next matches on the calendar," said the former Enyimba and Sharks coach to supersport.com.

The Flying Antelopes are 12th on the 20-team Nigerian top flight log on 37 points from possible 84 in the 28-week old league. Supersport
