According to the Bosnia police, a man has put 11 people in the hospital yesterday by throwing a hand grenade into a cafe after he had been barred from entering.
The victims of the incident, which took place in Kozarska Dubica, central Bosnia, were injured but their lives were not in danger, police spokeswoman Marija Markanovic said.
The man who threw the grenade was injured and also ended up in the hospital.
Local media reported that the man had been turned away by the café owner earlier in the evening because he was drunk and was also known for "violent behaviour in the past''.
It’s been 18 years after the inter-ethnic war in Bosnia but thousands of Bosnians still possess illegal arms despite the authorities’ attempts to collect them.
