The House of Representatives is working on a bill to facilitate an end to incessant conflicts between herdsmen and arable farmers in the country.
The Vice Chairman, House Committee on Agriculture, Hon Munir Danagundi, said this on Monday in Abuja in an interview with newsmen.
Though he did not give details of the bill, Danagundi said he was optimistic that the bill would go a long way in promoting a cordial relationship between arable farmers and herdsmen.
``The House of Representative has a bill before it. We have just finished the public hearing on it.
``By the grace of God, we will soon pass it then compare with the senate and onward passage to Mr President for ascent.
``This is one of the ways through which we can resolve conflicts between farmers and herdsmen."
