The attention of the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress [APC] has been drawn to yet another Alice-in-Wonderland Syndrome accusation by the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] that the APC is sponsoring a renegade faction of their collapsing PDP in Rivers State to set up a parallel state secretariat.
Ordinarily, the APC would have dismissed this as one of the frivolous and wild accusations for which the confused PDP in Rivers State has become notorious for especially after being hit by multi-pronged and massive desertion by its rank and file due to factionalisation. But it is now necessary to begin to roll back the death-bed propaganda of a terminally-ill political party before the innocent world is drawn into unnecessary confusion which the PDP in Rivers State has now aiming at.
We would like to recall that the PDP leadership clique led by Felix Obuah, that has sold its soul to the Junior Minister of Education, Bar. Nyesom Wike, sowed the seed of discord in the PDP the day it sold the party’s 2015 governorship ticket to the Minister without considering the various other interests within its ranks. Obuah and his henchmen have sowed the wind and should now be ready to reap the whirlwind that follows without blaming the APC.
