Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has dissolved 21 out of the 23 local government councils in the state.
Degema and Ogba/Egbema/ Ndoni local Government councils were not affected by the dissolution because elections were conducted into the two councils recently.
However, the tenure of the other council Chairmen expired yesterday.
