Governors of the South-East and South-South states met again in Enugu yesterday but refused to disclose the details of their deliberations. It was however, believed that the meeting, which held behind closed doors, featured prominently, issues relating to the proposed National Conference.
The Igbo apex socio-cultural body, Ohaneze Ndigbo, which met on Saturday was believed to have presented its position on the conference to the South-East governors as the two zones seek to harmonize their stands ahead of the conference.
The meeting was a continuation of the previous meeting held by the governors.
