In response to the suit file by the suspended Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido, the Federal Government on Friday told a Federal High Court in Lagos that he cannot stop the police and the Department of State Security Service from arresting him.
Sanusi had filed the suit seeking an order restraining the police and officers of the Department of State Security (DSS) from arresting, detaining or otherwise harassing him.
He joined the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Inspector General of Police (IGP), and the Department of State Security (DSS) as first to third respondents respectively.
