The EFCC has searched the apartment of other prominent Nigerians on Osborne Towers in Ikoyi where N13bn was found in several foreign currencies.

Those whose apartments were searched include ex PDP Chairman Adamu Mu'azu, media mogul Mo Abudu, immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi; and a former Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (Retail), Mrs. Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue.

All the flats were searched including the unoccupied ones.

Furthermore, it was said that the case is being handled by the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, and not the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

“The NSA, Babagana Monguno, is the one investigating and not the AGF. By the time he finishes his job, the Presidency may then officially address the issue,” someone close to the matter said.
