The Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC), Dr. Paul Orhii, has been commended on his good job and his commitment to the fight against counterfeit drugs and other substandard products so far by the Senate Committee on Health.
The committee chair, Senator Margery Okadigbo stated the agency’s effort are in correlation with the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan and is one of the few agencies in Nigeria working towards the achievement of the said agenda. The agency and its Director General have been praised and lauded nationally and internationally for its tireless work in the battle against counterfeit in the region.
The Senator stated, “NAFDAC is one of the agencies in Nigeria where President Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda is happening.”
