The Nigerian senate has postponed the ministerial screening of ex-governor of Rivers state, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and other ministerial nominees to Tuesday, 20th of 2015.
"Ladies and gentlemen. There will be no Ministerial Screening today. We will continue on Tuesday. We will tweet CVs of new nominees," a statement from the chamber's official twitter account says.
Amaechi is expected to have a tough screening as senators from his state are against his nomination.
Eighteen out of President Muhammadu Buhari's 21 ministerial nominees have been screened and approved.
