The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, on Saturday, announced the death of its Technical Director, Shaibu Amodu. The four-time coach of the Super Eagles died in his sleep after complaining of chest pains on Friday night.

5. Amodu was appointed head of the national football team 4 times; first in 2001, then, 2008, 2014 and 2015.
6. His first management stint with the Nigerian national team from April 2001 to February 2002 earned the country AFCON bronze medal at Mali 2002.
