Entertainment Singer Tony Tetuila Advised to Quit Politics

Nigerian singer turned politician and former member of the musical group, Remedies, Tony Tetuila has been advised to drop his political ambition and wait for his turn to take a real shot at politics.

Tetuila had earlier announced his intention to run for the Kwara State House of Assembly.

We gathered that when the singer declared his interest to run in the 2015 elections, he was taken seriously.

We however, learnt that shortly after the release of his campaign posters; which some dismissed for looking more like a concert poster, strong doubts began to creep in over the singer's level of seriousness, maturity and state of mind to handle a political office.

Prominent On-Air-Personality, Tolu Oniru popularly known as Toolz made jest of Tetuila's looks on his poster on her TV show.

Now that he has been advised to quit politics, it remains to be seen if he would comply or resort to other alternative means to contest in 2015.

Surely not the best kick off for Tetuila. I'm surprised he didn't see this coming. Take a good look and it's not hard to see why he has become an object of ridicule. Is there a way out for Tony?
