Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal has promised to give residents of the cleanest street in the state N1million cash.
Tambuwal made the disclosure while flagging off the state's special environmental sanitation programme. Apart from the one million Naira to be given to the cleanest street, the runner-up street will get N750,000 while the third cleanest street will get N500,000.
The gesture according to Tambuwal is aimed at protecting the health of the citizenry.
