Sports Sports Minister Tammy Danagogo charge Super Eagles to beat South Africa

Nigeria's Sports minster Tammy Danagogo has charged the Super Eagles to put in a lot of effort and defeat South Africa in their 2015 African Nations qualifiers.

The Super Eagles were beaten 3-2 at home last weekend, losing their first home match in the qualifying series to Congo.

However,Nigeria will be hoping they can beat South Africa in today's game billed for Cape Town.

Danagogo advised the team to use the loss as an incentive to defeat South Africa,in order to stand a chance of making the Nations Cup.

“I urge the Super Eagles not to let the loss to Congo distract them from training harder to ensure they defeat South Africa in Cape Town,” he said.

Adding that: “If they remain focused and not allow the defeat by Congo to weigh them down, I believe they can muster enough determination to beat South Africa in their home.”
