Former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, and his sons, Aminu and Mustapha have been transferred from Kano prison to Kuje prison in Abuja.
According to PREMIUM TIMES, the trio were transferred today in preparations for a bail hearing, expected on Tuesday.
Spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, has however, denied having any fore knowledge of the transfer. On Wednesday, a federal judge had ordered Lamido and sons to be detained in Kano prison till September 28 when their bail applications would be heard.
