Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has replaced injured Leon Balogun with Shooting Stars’ defender, Jamiu Alimi ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Swaziland.
Alimi was considered a quality replacement for the German based player following his impressive performance in Nigeria's team B victory over Burkina Faso last month, which qualified them for the CHAN championship staging in Rwanda next year.
He will now join up with the squad in Abuja on Monday morning as preparations begin in earnest for the first leg of the fixture in Lobamba on Friday, 13th November. The return leg has been confirmed for Port Harcourt on Tuesday, 17th November. Nff
