Sports Super Eagles will do well in the future - Samson Siasia

sia1.JPG Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia is optimistic that the national team will overcome their World Cup elimination and comeback to do well at future international competitions.

Siasia who coached the Super Eagles from 2010 to 2011 said that the team gave a good account of themselves in Brazil, further advocating for only a few additions to be brought into the team.

The team was disrupted in Brazil following disagreements with the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) over the payment of their appearance fees.

However,Siasia was grateful to president Goodluck Jonathan for intervening and settling the dispute.

“I must say that President Jonathan did well by nipping the appearance fee crisis in the bud. It shows that he is a leader who listens to the people.

“I am also sure that the Eagles would do better in future,” Siasia added.
