The Supreme Court affirmed judgement of the lower court.
The Court dismissed Labour Party's appeal for being incompetent.
The apex court also dismissed the appeal filed by the former governor, Idris Wada, for lacking in merit.
The seven-man panel headed by Justice Sylvester Ngwata affirmed the election after listening to the closing statements of all the counsel.
Reasons for the judgement, would be given on Friday, the 30th of September, 2016.
