The United Nations human right Chief says it has new evidence which implicates Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in war crimes.
According to BBC, Commissioner Navi Pillay said the UN's inquiry into Syria has produced massive evidence of serious war crimes. About 100,000 people are estimated to have died in the crisis.
The evidence indicated responsibility "at the highest level of government, including the head of state", she added.
Pillay is calling on the UN Security council to refer Syria to the ICC.
